One Thousand One Papua New Guinean Nights

Unknown Locations

The following is a list of locations from the ancestor stories (Stori Tumbuna) in Wantok newspaper that I have been unable to assign definitively to linguistic groups using the techniques that I have described elsewhere. In those cases where the linguistic group is indicated, I have some uncertainty about it, and am looking for confirmation.

If you know where any of these locations are, please contact me (THSlone@yahoo.com). If you think you might know where a location is, but need more information, I could send you a copy of the story in question, if that would be helpful. Thank you for any assistance.
